David Schwartzbaum is an actor, comedian, writer, host and producer with ten years of experience in performance. He has been seen on NBC's "Chicago PD as well as commercials for Travel Oregon and the Arkansas lottery. David's vast experience in both theater, improv/sketch and film, make him uniquely suited for any project. 

David Schwartzbaum was born at North Shore Hospital in Miami Florida. The Hospital was condemned and knocked down three months after his birth. The youngest child of a Cuban father and Jewish mother, David was eating fried bananas and blowing the shofar before he could walk. David spent his entire childhood in Miami and moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

David spent 1.5 years as a BFA in acting at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia studying acting and Meisner. At 19, David dropped out of college and founded The Off-Color Theatre Company, the only theater company dedicated to producing original comedic content in Philadelphia. After three successful seasons including a dozen world premier theatrical productions including "Bailout! The Live Action Sitcom" and "No-Talent Hacks" David moved to Chicago to continue his comedy career. 

David has appeared on national TV in NBC's Chicago PD, as well as in advertisements for Travel Oregon and the Arkansas lottery. 

In Chicago David graduated from iO Chicago Training Center, the Second City Conservatory Program and the Annoyance Training Center. David and his improv team "Switch Committee" performed an unprecedented two-headline-shows a week at the iO Chicago theater performing on both Thursday and Saturday nights. "Switch Committee" has one of the longest runs of any independent improv team in the iO's history and has travelled all over the country headlining over a dozen improv festivals and teaching workshops to thousands of improvisers.  David also toured with "Lethal Action Force", an improvised 80's action movie. David has written and performed in n over a dozen sketch shows and regularly performed at the Second City including the show "Insecurity Guards".

David is also a comedy and improv teacher. He has developed curriculum for six camps and taught thousands of children in the Chicagoland area working with his own LLC. He has also performed musical improv for children with "Storytown Improv".
